Featured on essence.com!

I can't recall if I blogged this already (can you tell I had a bunch of posts waiting to be published?) but during Mothers Day weekend which also happened to coincide with The Makeup Show NYC, I attended 'The Experience' - a meetup organized by a group of beauty bloggers.

There was a photographer present to capture the event and lo and behold the images ended up on essence.com some 3 months later.

A friend of mine, Tawana, spotted me and sent me the pic! I do love my hair but the overall image of myself is blah, I look tired and I was!

I have since changed my hair color and the style of my locs and I still love them! Versatility was something I thought locs wouldn't provide me, glad I proved myself wrong!
